In accordance with the Law on Consular Assistance and Consular Services, the Embassy of Latvia in Norway provides consular services (issuance of Latvian passports and eID cards, issuance of certificates, notarial services) to persons who have indicated in the Register of Natural Persons of Latvia that they live in Norway or Iceland.

An electronic pre-registration system has been launched at the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia to the Kingdom of Norway to apply for passports and eID cards. The information about how to apply for a passport and/or eiD card can be found here.

Other consular services (except for notarial services and renewal of PIN/PUK codes for the eID card) are provided only remotely by post or electronically, using services of Latvian authorities available in the portal latvija.lv

The  Embassy of the Republic of Latvia to the Kingdom of Norway provides consultations over the telephone from Monday until Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 (noon) and from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. You can reach us:  via bus Nr. 30, 31 and 20, stop "Olav Kyrres plass";

                                   via tram Nr. 13, stop "Nobels gate";

                                   by train, the closest stop to the Embassy is "Skøyen".

There is no parking available at the Embassy.

The Embassy is closed on Saturday and Sunday and during the official holidays of the Republic of Latvia.

No consular services are being provided on the official holidays of the Kingdom of Norway.
