Starting 2 September 2026, the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the mutual recognition and exchange of driving licences will come into force; this will allow nationals of both countries to exchange driving licences issued in their home country for a driving licence from the other country without taking a driving test.
